• Chisel features a hand ground sharpened edge designed to cut and shear cold metal.
• Most common applications are separation of workpieces and assemblies such as rivets, screws and welding joints.
• The octagonal shape is easier to grip when striking with a hammer and also prevents the tool from rolling away when placed on a surface.
• Striking head is turned and chamfered.
• The material core design prevents mushrooming of the striking head.
• Tools are tempered to a hardness of 54 to 58 HRC - not just at the tip but throughout the entire length of the tool.
• Forged from top quality hardened chrome vanadium steel.
